TESTIMONY - Daniel Nkoro Tells His Story

  • HOW IT ALL STARTED
Sometime in June 2014, I began to notice an ache in my stomach region. At first, I thought It was a need to de-worm myself since I hadn’t done it in a long while. But the pain became more intense. I could feel a painful lump growing at the left side of my abdomen. I went to St. Gerald’s Hospital, Agu-Awka to find out what it could be. After the doctor’s check-up, he surmised that nothing was wrong with me. He only prescribed some drugs and had me discharged.

On the same night after my check-up, the pain became more chronic. I had to rush back to the hospital the next day. After running another check-up, the doctor diagnosed an issue with my appendix, and recommended an immediate operation. Because I wanted to get my parents involved, I requested that the operation be delayed by one week.
  • A MORE COMPLICATED REPORT
In the course of the one week delay, the pain got so severe that my day to day activities were limited. I went back to the doctor before the agreed time elapsed. He examined me and noticed what medically is called a mass. He explained that it was blood that has congealed and attached my intestine to my appendix. He said it will require an immediate complex and major operation. The alternative will be to put me on a regiment of injections morning and night for one week so as to separate the mass.

When I got home, I gave my elder brother the report. He suggested that we go to a second hospital for confirmation. We were directed to General Hospital Enugwu-ukwu. Meanwhile, I had taken the drug the previous doctor prescribed for the separation of the mass for just one day. On getting to the new hospital, they noticed that my blood level was just about 25 percent, but an average person has a count of 36 percent. I was literally a walking corpse. The blood level was alarmingly low for a person about to undergo a major operation.

I was admitted and told to go for a scan immediately. I went with my brother for a scan at ______ Ochanja, Onitsha. I was moved to another room because the doctor had written that I had a rotten kidney. At the end of the day, they still discovered the bunch of mass at the left side of my abdomen. I took the results back to the doctor at the previous General Hospital. He called my parents and told them I had to be taken to the theatre the next day, to avoid my stomach bursting open. This was on Saturday 28th June. My parents were told to get 3 pints of blood (0 negative) and make deposits for the operation, scheduled on Monday 30th morning.
  • ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD…

My health situation at that point, was such that my parents and everyone were consoling me. But funny enough, I had this strong faith that I won’t undergo the operation. I completely refused the doctor’s reports. I reached out for my phone and called my leader in church (Love Ambassadors Ministries) Mr. Princewill Akubuike. That was the period of our International Covenant Partners Summit (ICPS). I told him the situation of things and strongly requested to see Pastor David. We made plans and early on Sunday 29th morning I got myself ready to see Pastor, despite the pains.

I had different needles inserted into my body by the nurses, but the moment my brother came for me I told them to remove all the needles. I told them that I MUST SEE MY PASTOR before the operation! I drove it into their ears with a shout when I saw they were hesitant. I got to church when the service was almost ended. After service I was taken to see Pastor. He held me at the place where I was hurting, and commanded the pain and the mass to dry up from the root. He released the healing power on me and declared the ailment gone!

Everyone was angry with me when I got back to the hospital. But I noticed something amazing. I used to take drugs and injections every two hours to manage the pain, but I was in church for about three hours and I felt no pain. I slept and woke up the next day, and all preparations for the operation were available and ready. But I still felt no pain!

I called the attention of the nurses and the doctor. A scan was taken, tests were carried out, and to their amazement too, the mass had disappeared!! The day I was to undergo the operation was the day I was discharged and given a clean bill of health. I just couldn’t hold back my praise. Today I stand as a testimony that God heals, and I shout it out loud that He is still in the business of doing miracles.
  • YOUR SET TIME IS NOW!

“You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come” – Psalm 102:13 (NKJV)
I’ve come to know and to also believe that nothing is beyond God. His pleasure is to see us healed and stay in divine health. He had already made provisions for that in Christ, and it is clearly stated in His word. Perhaps, you’ve been given a devastating medical report, but I want you to know that God’s word is powerful enough to change that. You can choose to either believe the medical report or the report of the Lord. The latter is more reliable because it is unfailing. I announce to you that the set time for your own miracle is here!

Get yourself in the environment of God’s word because that’s what stirs your faith. The more you hear it, the more faith wells up from within you. That’s what you need to claim your miracle. I’d encourage you to be established in a church where your faith is constantly been fed and built. That is one of the beautiful packages we enjoy in Love Ambassadors Ministries (LAM). You can’t belong there and remain the same. I sincerely thank God for His servant Pastor David Ifechukwu. My contact with him and with LAM has left me better and stronger in faith!

I work with the Sound Department of the Ministry, and every day I see God use me as a blessing to many more lives. My life and talents are poured out for the blessing of others and for the propagation of the gospel of the Kingdom. That is the greatest fulfillment and satisfaction a man can ever have in life.  I press towards that higher calling.

Remain eternally blessed!
